Yoga Journey: A Flow-through Loss II

Yoga Journey: A Flow-through Loss II

This journey encourages you to pause mid-yoga-flow to write and release your thoughts; It could be a new stream of consciousness, or a particular thought or moment that triggers past or current experiences of loss (with an opportunity to share at the end). And if nothing pours out, that's beautiful, too; and if you find yourself writing the entire time, let it happen.

Let’s keep bringing the gunk up and out.

Loss comes in many forms— could be a loss of a loved one, job, or losses linked to COVID-19.

In this practice, we will let loss flare-up, and magnify so we can see it, write it, and release it, without resistance.

  • Optional 10-minute group share at the end

  • No prior yoga or writing experience required.

  • Elise is a certified Yoga Alliance Instructor, writer, and Psychotherapy candidate (2025)

  • $liding $cale: $10-20 sliding scale; limited to 15 participants
